Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified ECVD or ACVD Diplomate, a veterinarian who has completed a dermatology residency, or a nationally certified veterinary dermatologist to lead our Dermatology Department.
The position can be filled full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate’s preferences.
The ideal candidate combines clinical excellence with a passion for teaching and is motivated to help develop the next generation of dermatology-focused veterinarians.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Dermatology Department and ensure high medical and organizational standards
- Perform advanced dermatological diagnostics and treatments
- Collaborate closely with other specialist departments
- Mentor and train veterinarians with an interest in dermatology
- Contribute to clinical protocol development and quality assurance
- Participate in continuing education and, if desired, research activities
Requirements
- ECVD/ACVD Diplomate or completed dermatology residency or national specialization in veterinary dermatology
- Strong clinical expertise and enthusiasm for dermatology
- Motivation to teach and support professional development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of German
- Eligibility to work in the EU
